Not sure what to do, any advice?
Its about $500 worth of OE parts, do you know anyone who can pull your heads for less than $2500?
No, that's the problem. Not a lot of shops in my area. My usual mechanic is "somewhat retired" and doesn't do invasive surgery anymore.

Any strange new noises associated with your issue, whats your oil pressure reading?
To be honest, it has had a wonky acceleration for a while now. I have noticed more than usual ticking or rattling, but i always escribed it to the exhaust leak.

More problems

Truck started driving strange. Was accelerating very hesitantly, and then surging. Check engine light came on so ran to autozone and scanned the code. Came back as oil sending unit, took it to dealership and they are saying its the cam, lifters and gasket to the tune of $3000. Not sure what to do, a...

Engine troubles

So i took my truck to the dealership for an oil pressure sensor code and now they are saying the cam, lifters and gaskets need to be replaced, to the tune of $3000. Not sure what to do.

Re: Thuren Track Bar

I finally got it in. Wasn’t without its struggles. Torquing to 215 with not much room was a pain in the arse. Definitely tightened up the front end. DW isn’t completely gone, but almost. Going to discount tire tomorrow to rotate and rebalance tires. See if that does anything. Thinking some Thuren Ove...

Re: Thuren Track Bar

Slide the frame side of the track bar in the receiver hitch so you don't need a vice. HF has disposable torque wrenches for like $30. You don't even need the ratchet straps that DM mentioned, just leave the tires on the ground and turn the steering wheel until the bolt holes line up. There really i...

Re: Thuren Track Bar

Well I was able to get the track bar off. Drag link and tie rod were sorta in the way. After looking at the bushings, they both seemed to be ok. I am really hoping swapping out the track bar takes care of my DW. I was kinda hoping that the stock bushings would just fall apart and that it would be a ...

Re: Thuren Track Bar

Is it safe to use an extension with a 25" breaker bar? Could a crescent wrench be used? I've heard they can snap under heavy loads as well.

Re: Thuren Track Bar

Lol thanks for making it seem like such a duh moment. It's been a long hot day, that thought never entered my mind. A little confused about the deep well? Will they extend out past the steering components?

Re: Thuren Track Bar

Track bar came in and damn this thing feels like a quality piece of kit. Hoping to install before the weekend. Should I put the truck up on ramos or use a two post lift? Is it easier with the axle compressed or full droop? Also, directions mention greasing the hiem joint threads, I noticed there is ...

Re: Thuren Track Bar

Found some slop in the joints at each arrow, I assume that's bad. Not sure what the bar is called, but I'm able rotate it up and back about an inch. Have not installed the track bar yet, wanted to see what everyone suggests.

Re: Thuren Track Bar

After reading through the instructions it sounded like I would need to set the length and then tighten the heim joint jam nut to 200ft/lbs. Is that not the case? I would assume that is the case, if that is what the directions state. I just want to be sure, you know what happens when you "assume"...

Thuren Track Bar

So i finally purchased a Thuren Track bar, hoping to get it installed soon. Looking for any tips and tricks before install. Also, what length is everyone using for stock rigs? I assume 39" but just want to make sure. Hopefully getting this installed will end my death wobble problems. Fingers crossed...

Re: Another Death Wobble post

Dealership said that a dual steering damper will solve the death wobble issue. I am a little skeptical, but optimistic... waiting on price quote. On a side note, dealer also said gear box was leaking oil and i have a couple broken exhaust manifold bolts. They want about 750$ for each of those repair...

Re: A/C blows hot and smells

Finally able to take my truck to the dealership for the a/c service. Was diagnosed with a bad evaporator and blower motor (blower motor was changed about 2 1/2 years ago) to the tune of about $1400. I don't what it is about dodge's a/c but i have always had expensive problems with them.

A/C blows hot and smells

So all of a sudden my a/c started blowing only room temp air and it also has a funky smell to it now. I think it smells like a chemical smell and a buddy thought it reminded him of manure.... not sure what it could be. Anyone have any thoughts.....

Re: Anyone care to guess?

This was my attempt at fixing my factory linkage. I have not tried to install it yet, however, i may just use factory bushings given the less then positive reviews.

Nice looking truck. Love the look of the shell, personally i like it without the roof rack. But sweet truck for sure. I am always torn between graphics on or off but yours definitely looks good. Congrats on the new truck and the new baby.

Re: Another Death Wobble post

It is definitely not a fun occurrence. I, like you, do not do much driving over 45 mph so i have been able to avoid it usually. However the past few months i have been doing more freeway driving and every time i come to an overpass, i get really anxious that its going happen again. Not fun at all. P...

Re: Another Death Wobble post

My tires are a couple years old but not very many miles. I am running them at about 45 psi, I started to think maybe they are too stiff and are "bouncing" around. Maybe not though if you had to go to a stiffer tire.
