Re: WTB AEV Salta rims

I’m looking to switch back to Katlas now that the fixed version is out. My black saltas are in good shape as they were issued as part of the recall to replace my Katlas. I’d consider it after I land Katlas post covid. I have 5 total black saltas.

Re: New Rear Bumper?

Aside from obvious low volume sales, price, and worse departure angle, does anyone know why we don’t see more of theses for rams? I’ll take a loss on clearance for winch and tire carrier...it’s based on a Runel design, buck stop bought them. They say they offer them for rams. https://www.buckstopin...

Weight Distribution Hitch Offroad

Jeeez where ya been wapiti hunter!? Aint seen ya around these parts in a while! I have that same hitch and have enjoyed it for 4 seasons now. But rarely get off road with it. Aev forum dead, power wagon forum didn’t perk my interest lately until I saw the ABS kill switch (been working on my own ver...

Weight Distribution Hitch Offroad

I have cracked the square tubing and one of the welds on my equalizer hitch head doing this too much. I now 100% disconnect the bars on dirt roads or high articulation situations. Do it or you will regret it eventually. Mine was hard to notice but could have been really bad if a bar came flying off...

Re: Tire chains

What year truck do you have? And what size tires? What rims? I run studded snows in the winter but there is no replacement for chains in the spring and fall. Just switched to toyo MTs and they are great but once they get worn down and or I'm towing in the mountains, let's put it this way, never will...

Re: Gears, gears, gears

I live in Alexandria/Pineville area, its right in the middle of the state. The few shops around here that allegedly do gears don't want to mess with them, the dealership here won't even do them : ( I know the feeling. Same thing happened to me. Trust your gut if you find someone who agrees to do it...

These guys won't do it? http://searchers4wd.com/new-page Don't let anyone touch your truck that hasn't done a late model ram. Here is the test I used: have you done an AAM 11.5"? If they say huh. Or studder, put your guard up. Listen to the response and ask to talk to the guys on the shop floor if y...

Re: Transmission/crossover pipe skidplate

Wonder if that skid will fit a g56 truck. 6.7 oil pain sits way low. Company in Israel makes a skid package but hell on shipping... He's working on it. Needs someone to bring him their truck. Are you volunteering? :poke: What is also interesting is those rock sliders that mimic White Knuckles, exce...

Re: 37 in spare

Yes. Case in point, note the scrape: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170830/aba4e1b77df9995dc5d4f06a5c83b89b.jpg Add a rear winch plate and something that is not too awfully angular and I'm very interested. Lots of room if spare is not there I think for a winch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

37 in spare

I'm working on a production level solution for guys running a 37" spare. I will probably have something out by end of October, give or take a month. The solution will keep the tailgate intact and in part will be a full bumper replacement. Cool. Hope your thinking of removing the quarter panels behi...

Re: 37 in spare

Here it is: "Despite being “open” when unlocked, ARB advises against using a smaller spare, as it could accelerate shim wear or potentially weld the cross-shaft to the gears. When possible it is best to lock the axle or put the smaller spare on the axle with no Air Locker, if you have one." http://w...
