Re: A Tale of Diagnostic Woe

Putting the Maverick and Iceman sword fighting aside for a moment, there is an update. I had to call and drag the update out of this small market, shit-heal, dealer...but none the less. FCA wants pictures of the valve train which means a tear down of the cylinder heads. The dealer is bracing me for...

Reloader - I seem to remember that you are not fond of PUP and are running something else in your engine. Did that ever come up as the dealership was working to resolve your woes? Never came up. I have Amsoil in it and service records if it matters. Short of sludging, I doubt they even have a way o...

Hello TommyG, A 3/4 ton 4x4 that is six years old, those don't seem like unreasonable repairs especially if you 'go off road. If it was me I would replace the other hub they usually fail pairs Rockauto has good prices, SKF makes the Mopar hubs. Coder--an infinite well of knowledge about cost effect...

So I finally managed to get out to the midwest and chase. So far it has not disappointed. The trucks been running strong and guzzling gas :chug: Had to go down a dirt road at about 90 to get out from 2-4in hail and get away from the core of the storm. Very cool, but you forgot to hold a met...

Might run into an issue with tire fitment, though very slightly. My understanding is that there is a pinch weld on the rear side of the front wheel well. What is the proper fix for it? I know on my jeeps I always beat them flat and painted them

Wranglers hold crazy value, especially Rubicons of certain years where people paid 100% of initial sale price second hand years later and still do. the comparison of the new durango vs cherokee is slightly off...go look at sales volume...and just look at how capable that trailhawk is...exast same e...

That's a nice car and a great value for $55k. I'm not sure why it is but I always see HCs in stock at some random Dodge dealer half way between Missoula and Kalispell. I think at one point last year they had six or seven. It's in the middle of no where. Agree, I'd have a hard time paying the $74K s...

Re: Trackhawk

I disagree. The real value of the Hellcat series of vehicles is the factory warranty on the 707HP feature. That's 30k miles of 1/4 mile launches and smokey burnouts backed by the factory. The Chargers, Challengers, and GC's are generally pretty low quality compared to an M5, M6, or X5/6M. The insid...

X5-6M are great cars...and tuned....get out of here the real value is the fact that the trackhawks value should be 88k no more... Jeeps hold CRAZY value, or so Koons told me when negotiating my wife's TrailHawk vs. an R/T Durango. They have several SRT Jeep GC's and they were all at or above $80K (...
