AEV's hardware looks terrible. For the money they should use better bolts.
All grade-8’s aren’t the same. Living in the rust belt is tough on vehicles, and I can’t live my life through a bottle of fluid film.

Not that I need a front camera but my wife is the worst driver ever. This also bypasses the speed lockout and gives me the SRT wallpaper. I can add a third camera or a media device with composites. Did you buy the Customtronix UK Ram medallion camera and their Egnima Premium JailBreak EVIC programm...

Thuren 2.5 kit installed

Took 14 days to complete a little each night, was not super fun. Pretty straightforward, but it is a pain doing this on your back, in the dark at night. Had passing help from my 11yr old, wife and a neighbor during certain parts. Good thing the PW is not my DD. Took it in for an alignment after, the...

I know in MDS some resonate. I never run in MDS. What Catback should I do? Any performance gains? I remember on my Vortec 8100, dyno proven was twin magnaflows for about 20 rwhp. I assume this exhaust is more efficient, but like my second gen, less junk under the truck is better. (I did a 3" magnaf...

Re: Removal of rear sway bar?

After installing my 2.5” King Thuren kit, I test drove without the rear sway bar. There was a noticeable small amplitude sway that I think was within the front sway bar dead spot, and not great enough that the shocks could damp it fast enough for my liking. I made DIY spacers, got longer bolts, put...

You can just flip the rear sway bar. I'm going to remove mine in Moab and when I put it back on I'll flip it.

Our PW's are a LONG way from ultra4's :poke:
Need to get the sway bar to disconnect first, good luck with that.

I have dealt with “engineers” and they are a joke. Mechanics didn’t design, write 10’s of thousands of lines of finite element code, perform countless stress analyses, spend years in the lab formulating new materials & experimenting, build, test, or produce these trucks. That’s an impressive pile of parts! Going to feel like a whole new truck. What stage valving did you opt for? Apologies if you said already, I looked but didn’t see. You may have issue with driveshaft contact on the rear skid plate crossmember as the rear droops out, something to check for on insta...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon issues

Can’t say I really care about the truck being gas or diesel. AES makes any RAM diesel into a Prospector so it was an option. What I am having a difficult time with is over all shamefully embarrassing fit to finish, and over all lack of accountability toward failing to manufacture a realizable truck...

Thank you! They have ran code checks 4 times. I’m not ruling out hardware issues but at the moment Chrysler has a no replacement policy on the radio. It generated a error code but Chrysler has no plans to fix the issue on models prior to 2019. Its this kind of bullshit that makes me no longer want ...

Quiet, tough, comfortable on the road, a little stiff in the ruts, but I should’ve aired down more than 15psi You went down to 15psi and should have w...

Got the Thuren parts (Track Bar and Short Arms) put on this weekend. Had it aligned to Thuren specs, and the truck is running very nicely. I did not notice much difference in the feel of the suspension, but I have not done any hard driving with it yet. My suspension was not worn out yet either. How...
