Re: grill guard

Here they play high-speed follow the leader across the roads. I guess they Always see the grass as greener on the other side of the road!

As you're cruising down the road, you will miss the first deer, plaster the second deer, and the third deer will plow into the side of your vehicle.

And do they have the stainless steel shafts?

Do you live in an area of the country that has lots of hard minerals in the sand? (zircon, garnet, bauxite etc)

I agree the horn in these trucks are horrible. They have a delay and it is impossible to just give someone a quick toot. It sounds for like a second, minimum.
Try to give a quick tap tap and see what you get :D

Re: New Member

Welcome to the group  You are right on in that the Power Wagon is the best riding 3/4 ton out there - it's due to the softer linear rate springs. Towing can be somewhat of a challenge if you need to support tongue weights much over 1000 pounds... Consider bags if you tow heavy often for long...

Re: New truck ordered 2018

I am assuming this is one of 5 Million reasons they are shutting down Mexican operations. Delivering product will be a lot faster and cheaper when you do not have to deal with cross border logistics from Mexico. Yep - We'll be able to head over to Michigan, slap down our credit card, and drive off ...

What issue do you have with hill descent control?
Hill Descent Control does not work at all on the 2018s. Apparently, it is a know issue and is incorporated in the cruise control recall.
Then I guess the 2018 owners will have to use the backup method like I do - the brake pedal :p...

I feel your frustration! Luckily, I haven't had any issues with my '12 CTD Mega or my '14 Power Wagon. The vast majority of owners don't have many major failures. It's really hard to engineer a 100% reliable vehicle and keep it at a reasonable price these days. All parts that go into vehicle...
