Wow!
You get the most strength to resist bending from the welds exactly where those stock welds were missing!!!

Re: Best Build Decision? Leather....

I am curious about the duratracs. What did the wear pattern look like running them at 65 psi all the time? Oh and how much do your generation of power wagon's weigh? Empty with rock sliders, I tip the scales at around 8000 in my Laramie w/RamBox. Heavy SOBs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk With ...

Re: Diff Temp video

Lots of :cash: :cash: :cash: spent on mods and "improvements". If you don't baseline and then quantify the impacts, you never know if the bang is worth the buck. That's big value of the forum - not everyone has to experiment - we can learn from others that do it right and have the data from measured...

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

If you only do work in the forward direction, it reduces to a question of optimization... If backing something heavy up a winding hill in 4Lo is in the picture, I would think twice about the "weaker" gear set. I've been in 4Lo reverse with the wheels taking turns breaking loose - stock gears - hopin...

Not a fan of this. Maybe just some guidance to keep discussion on topic? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk NO, end of debate. Take ADeluca's thread, 255 replies, 90% are not related to the build, but just people commenting. Makes it difficult to actually read a build and follow mods done and look ...

Don't worry - it's not like the Mexicans are racing your truck around the desert... or are they? :poke:

Re: Tradesman/power wagon vs power wagon snowplow prep

If you build a tradesman and add the power wagon package you can add the snow plow prep package also. Just did it on the ram truck website. That’s why I am asking about this, ram states that the suspension is the same I don't think the dealer interface will allow the combination. Hence, it can't be...

Here they play high-speed follow the leader across the roads. I guess they Always see the grass as greener on the other side of the road!

As you're cruising down the road, you will miss the first deer, plaster the second deer, and the third deer will plow into the side of your vehicle.

And do they have the stainless steel shafts?

Do you live in an area of the country that has lots of hard minerals in the sand? (zircon, garnet, bauxite etc)

I agree the horn in these trucks are horrible. They have a delay and it is impossible to just give someone a quick toot. It sounds for like a second, minimum.
Try to give a quick tap tap and see what you get :D

Re: New Member

Welcome to the group  You are right on in that the Power Wagon is the best riding 3/4 ton out there - it's due to the softer linear rate springs. Towing can be somewhat of a challenge if you need to support tongue weights much over 1000 pounds... Consider bags if you tow heavy often for long...
