The OEM Forged Aluminum wheels have a load rating that is allegedly >4000 lbs (but isn't specifically listed)
Here is what is listed:

Re: confused trans

I'm running 5.13s and 37s on my 2018. Running just over 2100rpms at 75mph. sounds about the same as 35s with 4.10. was hoping 5.13 would be closer to 2500rpm. oh well. what shops are knowledgable in the wagon axles that can do the 5.13 swap ? im about 2.5hrs from salt lake. 4hr from cheyenne. 6hr f...

Re: confused trans

That's a simple - straight forward calculation...

75mph / 60minutes per hour * 12inches per foot * 5280feet per mile / 37inch diameter / pi() * 5.13gear ratio * 0.62sixth ratio = 2,167rpm

Re: confused trans

In the mean time, put it in Tow/Haul mode which will help with the shifting and lock out 6th. 5th gear with 37's will get you closer to 6th on 33's

Re: Powerwagon's best model year 2005-2020?

Without question, 2005 is the best year. Why I haven't had to put more than a new battery in it in 15 years. Might need some tires here soon though... Just need to find a 2005 with about 5,000 miles on it and I would be all over it! [emoji38] I only have about 5000 per year... Sent from my SM-G965U...

Re: Ford Tremor

The Tremor will be a great work truck if a base model option is available I agree. From my understanding it is a package that you can add to many of the truck models. Unsure if there are any exclusions though (like longbox crew cabs, or the xl base model etc.). When I checked it was only available ...

Re: Ford Tremor

Watch this https://youtu.be/SAQvLz8BTYs at :45 Payload or articulation, pick one. Yeah - it's a compromise with the current rear suspension design. With a different design, it wouldn't be that difficult to have both. Imagine if you had a much stronger axle, and could the move the spring attachments...

Re: Ford Tremor

If our rediculously long Power Wagons were several inches longer, then there would be room for 35" or possibly even 37" spares. :poke:

Re: Ford Tremor

Honest question, does anyone know why FCA hasn't included 35s from the factory? 1/2 ton Raptors have had 35s since 2011. I can't imagine the 1mpg drop from a larger heavier tire is going to sway any companywide epa goals. Especially since they don't rate the 3/4+ ton trucks. No reason they couldn't...

Re: 5.7L Hemi vs 6.4L Hemi Dyno Results

So I know that Dodge/Ram claims that the 5.7L is rated at 380hp and 400 lb-ft of torque while the 6.4L Hemi is rated at 410hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. My question is this- does anybody know what both engines dyno at? I did some google searching, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. s...

You guys and your park sensors. I keep backing up until it sounds expensive. :cash:
And I know that my ass end is high enough that I can overlap above their hood on many of the low riders :o
That's why I finally removed my truck nuts - for more parking clearance!!!

Re: Powerwagon's best model year 2005-2020?

On the newer PW's. Wheelbase is 9" too long. The hood blocks some of the view. Too many computer nannies. 4.10 gears. The front suspension. The rear suspension. The only things I like about them is the motor, 8 speed tranny, and the opening of the fenders. The hood is like looking over a cliff. From...

Re: Powerwagon's best model year 2005-2020?

Well, I've owned a '13 and a '14. I've had to replace my rear camera on the '14 and that is all. The newer models added more nannies and features that don't really interest me much - like hill decent or active noise dampening which drive up the weight and the price. So I pick the '14 as the best mod...

Re: Towing 9K lb trailer, Air Bags w/Cradles or WDH?

With your front end lifted, and stock rear springs, I can’t imagine you are going to get back to level with just a WDH on a 9k pound empty trailer.
