Re: (New) Toyo A/T III

That Kanati Trail Hog tread pattern is remarkably similar to the Duratrac pattern. :D

Re: (New) Toyo A/T III

I think that's a nice open tread for an AT...

Looks like at this point (March 2020) they only offer two 17" tires that might suit our trucks: our stock size and 35x12.50

Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

Has anyone thought of connecting the airlines together before the fill port? I really don’t haul uneven loads. And if one bag is leaking for some reason I’d like them to stay the same pressure. My two thoughts The problem with that would come from stability. On a level, static surface that might wo...

Re: 2019 Ram power waggon is it worth to buy one?

I truly love my Power Wagon and it does everything I have ever wanted it to do. But - I probably wouldn't buy it again because I really don't "need" the special capability it has. I ordered it on a whim just to have another toy to play with. I purpose myself to use it at least once a week so it does...

And - Duratrac's do require more pressure than most other tires to stabilize your ride - they have very "flexy" sidewalls
and I run my Duratracs with at least 60 psi...

Re: AlfaOBD Discussion: 2013-2018 Change Dealer Settings Yourself: TPMS, LED, HID, Tire Size etc!

So far since I have done my suspension and swapped to 37's, I have successfully changed the tire pressure thresholds, tire size to correct speedo, as well as converted to a premium cluster with the ability to write the VIN to the cluster and match up the hours and odometer. Very handy tool to have....

What's the price for 2 unit bearings?
It was 2018 before this thread was bumped - doesn't seem like our ram unit bearings are failing very often...

Re: Anybody build a driveline protection solution that works?

the lower gawr in the front is because the soft springs. i suspect the rating of the axle itself is 5000 or possibly 5500. it could use a 7000 lb axle but would still be limited to less than 5000 because the springs PW axles are actually the same or higher rated than non-PW axles. Front is 5700 and...

Re: Anybody build a driveline protection solution that works?

The Power Wagon rims and tires pair up to over 6k lbs capacity - the front axle which has a "Gross Axle Wt Rating" of 4700 pounds is the weakest link! :poke:

Re: 37

Most don't care about the biggest tire than can fit by cutting up their truck and spending $$$$ :D For the OP, 12.50 by 37s on a +25 rim will likely only require using a heat gun to push back the plastic front fender liners - and possibly grinding away some of the pinch welds for the larger diameter...
