Re: Rock Sliders For '05 PW?

Maple has some cool stuff, but White Knuckle looked at the truck and they can delete one mount on the passenger side to avoid my house batteries. Only caveat is that we have to use the .188 tubing to maintain strength with one missing mount. I can drive to White Knuckle for final measurements and t...

Re: Toyo Open Country R/T vs Open Country A/T II

Also, dont forget about the nitto at’s. I put a set on my wifes denali xl and they have been a great tire. Its by no means an exact comparison to a ram 2500, but it aint no little suv either. Heres what they look like with over 40k miles on them.... 9F7EADD9-3785-4D35-BD86-E6AE3269584D.jpeg 6F0C020...

I wasn't sure whether you, PWJouster, actually ran a tuner or not... (I now know you didn't) I've used performance tuners on other vehicles with some great success - but that was because I made all the other required mods to enable the extra power. In the case of our 6.4 "truck" engines, the ...

Supposedly this is 30%. I think it’s Les Schwab not carrying Toyo anymore and wanting to push their tire on me and not give me any kind of warranty.

For any CTD guys on here, they are also building CTD sliders with five mounting tubes instead of the normal four. This to handle the extra weight of those pigs.

Speaking of seatbelts - are you still able to turn off the seatbelt chime on the 2019 like you can on earlier trucks???

Re: Thoughts??? To rebuild or to buy new (Used)?

Use the wife's PW twice a year to drive the boat down to Key Largo... PW's don't usually make the best daily drivers (unless your commute requires lockers  ) hence my '14 PW has less than 10k miles on it and my 30+ mpg american made car daily driver has 195k miles on it. :patriot: ...and the p...

Re: PowerSteps

All of the new 2019 Power Wagons on the dealer lots (that i've seen) do have some sort of steps. And it's definitely not a robust rock slider!

I'd rather have the step(s) as optional from the factory so the buyer can put on something appropriate based on their intended use (rocks or mall)

Re: Rock Sliders For '05 PW?

Spoke with White Knuckle this afternoon. They are willing to look at the truck and see if their mounts can be modified to work around my battery mounts. They are about 100 miles away, so will be a couple weeks before I can get over there. If they can do it, they'll need the truck in their shop for ...

how fast?
It must have been CONNECTED - there wouldn't be any stress on it in a disconnected state.
