Looks good it should have come that way from the factory, do those compatibility brackets unbolt and come right off it's hard to tell from the picture?
As far as I can tell they should come right off, two thru bolts on the frame each.

Re: 2019+/5th Gen Air Dam Removal

Those mounts hanging down are called compatibility brackets. They are part of your NTSB tested collision system. They can be cross purposed for plows and other things, but in actuality, they are designed to keep low profile cars from going too far under you in a head on impact. Good info... maybe I...

Re: What did you do to your PW this week?

Removed front air dam and installed Factor55 Flat Splicer... which was a major pain in the ass to install. If I were to do it again I’d buy regular flatlink and use a regular thimble. I thought the Splicer would be nice so I could theoretically re-splice it in the field but it was such a pain that n...

2019+/5th Gen Air Dam Removal

Easy peasy. About 14 nuts and 4 bolts easily removed with a stubby ratchet, 10mm socket, and short extension. License plate bracket will only be held on by two plastic expanding clips after dam removal, so I just bolted the plate straight to the bumper. I might try and do something better about it i...

Re: 19 ram power wagon screaming bigger

Bigger tires? Hell yeah! Bigger wheels? Hell no! You won’t get much love for larger diameter wheels here. These things are off-road beasts and larger diameter wheels are more of a detriment off-road. 35x12.5R17 / 315/70R17 on stock wheels fit perfect, I’ve not noticed any rubbing turning or off-road...

Does everyone who goes need a radio? And what do you need in a spill kit? I just got this $30 spill kit on Amazon. It included a huge stack of absorbent pads, two 4ft booms, a pair of nitrile gloves, and trash bags. I split the kit in half so I could fit it behind/under the rear seat. I ordered it ...

I don’t know what brand they were...I was helping someone put them on their truck (a Raptor) and they kept getting tangled, It was confusing with all these different color chains and hooks, and we couldn’t get them to tighten up properly. That looks fantastic! Hate to ride on the coattails of greatness, but is there any chance you could upload the file you came up with for the engraving? I love the way that came out and would like to order one myself. DM me your email and I’ll email it to you (it’s not a jpeg so I don’t think I can ...

Re: What did you do to your PW this week?

Got these heavy bois installed today. They work great as a step as well, just as I hoped. I will need to add some grip tape though so they aren’t slick when wet.

Re: Sliders and active tune mass module

I just installed my WKOR Sliders(0.188” thick tubes, extended width 2x4” main rails, no top plates) on my 2019 PW. I put about 30 miles mixed driving (Highway and some city) and so far I haven’t experienced any of the “crazy vibrations” others in this thread have had. My truck is stock other than 31...

Re: What did you do to your PW this week?

I’m surprised there wasn’t one of these threads before, I’ve seen them on most other auto forums. Custom stainless transfer case shift knob I ordered came so I put that on. I also got a pair of v-bar traction chains, and test fit them. And last but not least I picked up my WKOR Sliders from the frei...

Re: Chains up front?

What does the owner's manual say? Mine says no go. Just asking the obvious. Seems contact with something as the front components are pretty close to inboard side of tire. Manual says rear only for 2500, 2500 Power Wagon, and 3500 SRW. Interestingly it says Front or Rear for 3500 DRW. I can’t imagin...

Re: Chains up front?

If I’ve got chains on I’m probably not hauling ass at 30mph anywhere. In fact more likely I’m on a snowy trail. But Yeah I figured that leading edge of the fender well might be close, especially when turning with the suspension flexing a bit. Any concerns with brake lines on the inside, or are they...

Just save your original in case you ever have a transfer case warranty issue :poke:
I can’t imagine they would try to reject a warranty claim over a screw on shift knob?!

Anyways here’s a couple better/daylight photos

Re: Chains up front?

Yeah I should have included that info. It’s a 2019. Suspension, wheels, and bumper is all stock and plan on keeping it that way. My tires are 35” (315/70/17) though.

Chains up front?

I just ordered a pair of v-bar ladder chains for my truck. I plan to run them on the rear axle side the chain guide that ram issues lists chains for rear axle only. But I’m curious if anyone runs them on the front without issues?? I’ve got 35s, so I know that steals a bit of clearance too, I’m think...

Transfer case shift knob

Love my 2019 power wagon, especially the great interior... but either the designers were lazy or the bean counters were stingy, and they’ve kept the same transfer case shift knob they’ve used since the mid 90s. Fortunately it’s an easy fix since it uses a common M10x1.5 thread. I drew up the shift p...
