I wouldn't do coil overs, I'm not a fan of them.

Yeah, good point. But what's next? More horsepower and start stripping it down to make lighter or sell as already set up for whatever. It's not daily driver any more so either play or.... ?

Re: Air conditioning leak

No doubt it has a leak, after these 90F days go by I'll see what the problem is and fix it. For now it's cooling on a recharge.

Re: Axle seal keeps leaking

My cousin had a repeating axle seal leak on his CTD that turned out to be a slightly bent housing that needed to be straightened. He bought the truck used and apparently the previous owner had one too many hard landings. When your mechanic gets it apart, ask him to look straight through the axle tu...

Re: Air conditioning leak

I'll dive into it a little more but I'm thinking there is a leak because the compressor runs like it should and the low pressure side just gets cool, not cold enough to sweat, high pressure is slightly warm, not hot. I am skeptical about those stop leak cans so I'll do the UV check and hopefully fin...

Air conditioning leak

My AC is barely cooling, compressor still kicks in and it appears everything is working correctly so I must have a small leak. I see I can get a recharge kit but I also see there's a bunch of them and some have "sealant" in them. Does anyone have any experience with them? I'm thinking just recharge ...

Well it's gonna take longer than 30 minutes because I didn't know about the sleeve seal and nobody around me has one. Re: 37 in spare

Tire patch kit, air compressor and original spare still there. Haha. I have always thought that if you run a 37 on one side and a 33 on the other, you would mess something up? I'd put it on the front and maybe even lower the air on the taller tire to help. No different than an old doughnut spare. K...

2010 Rear Pinion Seal

I have 165K miles and it has started marking it's territory. I went to the local parts houses this weekend and nobody has a pinion seal so I am ordering this morning. Is that all I need or do I need a new nut and a crush sleeve? I'm having a hard time finding any specs on torquing the pinion nut aft...

Bigger tire will make it go and stay in the lower gear, the Hemi likes rpms so go bigger and let it eat. May not not much to get it right where you want it.

Re: Long Term PW Storage

Have the care taker crank it once a week and would be nice to drive it around every other week or so. Worst thing for any kind of machinery is to let it sit. Lots of bare metal surfaces that will develop rust if it sits. Anything on the truck with oil in it and a cavity will hit a dew point and cond...
