Normal on 95% of all 4wds... Motor mounts and transmission mounts have that much compounded movement.

Re: Brakes slow to release.

Pistons could have rust on them. If the rubber seals are bad, water gets in there and causes them to rust. As the pads wear down, the Piston comes further out and more surface is exposed. You can remover the rubber seal and clean the piston surface a few times before having to replace them.

Re: Looking to start the mods

If yours has two sets of resonators and a muffler like a 1500. Try a muffler delete before you spend too much money. The factory resonators cut a bunch of sound.

Re: What would you expect to pay for a re-gear?

What year? New with 4.10? Or older with 4.56? A 4.56 will roll them no problem. On mine, it actually gotten better mpg on 35's because the gears were so low.

Re: 37 Tire in a 7' Garage?

Yep, my old one was 6'11" on thuren springs and Hankook 37's with about half tread. A good MT will change from "37" to "35ish" through the life of the tire.

Should tee into the gas pedal and that's all. If it's not plug and play, it must be the wrong one.

I have one on the 1500, if you turn it all the way up, you can put pressure on just your big toe and it'll be like you floored it. Haha

Re: Traction control on 2011?

This new 2019 1500 is ridiculously nanny controlled. Can NOT power out of a mud hole, it'll kill the gas and abs kicks in, all kinds of crazy shit. Turn it all off and it must come back on at 15mph or something because as soon as you think something good is going to happen, nope. I think the fusebo...

Re: Traction control on 2011?

Keep the wife and kids safe? I almost wrecked a Wrangler because of that crap. I veered off the shoulder and was going to ease it back on the road. Next thing I knew, one of the tires barked from it braking and the Jeep did whatever the hell it wanted to and I had zero control. Went into the other l...

Re: Instrument Cluster Lights

This has been an issue past 2007. I had an 07 and could turn them off, got a 2010 and could not. Never could figure it out. Wanted all lights off for night hunting with night vision. Had to cover dash with a towel.
