Re: Overland 1.5 inch Spring w/King OEM 2.5 Shock

Picture in first post is pre-lift. It was a few weeks between doing the front and installing the rear spacers. With just the front done it definitely looked low in the rear. Where it's at now looks pretty good to me. Your milage may very. Cheers.

Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

Right bag blew out the other day. Leaking out of the center hole in the bottom under the label. Replacement was 150-ish. Swapped out in 15 minutes. I'm going to keep at least 5lbs in them from here on out and see how it goes. Cheers.

Re: Overland 1.5 inch Spring w/King OEM 2.5 Shock

I alway measure from fender lip to center of hub. Front = 27 3/4", Rear = 28". After installation of Thuren 1-1/2" springs up front, 1" coil spacer in the rear. Never did take measurements before doing the work. So, you may want to go with a bigger spacer in the rear for your wants. Cheers.

Re: Overland 1.5 inch Spring w/King OEM 2.5 Shock

Got the front end sorted. Waiting on Thuren truss and DOR brace to get here. Then I think I'm pretty much tapped out for the front end for a while. Going to wait to upgrade the ball joints and RCV axles as part of the re-gear and 37's this spring. Anyone have experience with Thuren XHD sway bar links?

Re: 2018 PW Leak behind Front Axle

Maybe replaceable O-ring. I haven't been able to find anything other than the complete unit. Might have to pop it off when I get a chance and see it up close...

Re: 2018 PW Leak behind Front Axle

Light/slow weep from bottom of CAD housing to axle housing seal. Picture in original post is 5000+ miles. Research revealed it is wet behind the cover... earlier models look like an easy actuator housing gasket replacement. Late model part looks like the gasket is "built into" the $300 actuator. I'm...

Re: 2018 PW Leak behind Front Axle

I noticed it late last night when I went back out to torque the Dethloff fasteners. Quick finger-it and sniff-it test excluded AF. I cleaned it up. Checked it this morning after drive to work with no leak. Whatever it is it is slow. I’ll do root-cause inspection and post up after work. Will not be g...

Re: Overland 1.5 inch Spring w/King OEM 2.5 Shock

I ended up ordering the entire Synergy steering kit and Thuren front/rear track bars. It has taken a while for the WK sliders to be shipped but they are on the way. Have been waiting on the sliders to put everything on at the same time. Front springs will go on with the rest in a couple weeks. Expo1...

2018 PW Leak behind Front Axle

2018. 5k miles. Was under the truck installing the Dethloff skid plate (really nice product!) and noticed a leak. Does anyone have any information about this part. I'm a new convert from a Tundra and still learning the different systems on the RAM. Thanks.

New

New 2018 PW. Drove the new 2019, nice, but the shifter was a no-go, so was the the new front end and flares. The '18 was 12k cheaper, too. I added a couple pictures of it new and where it is 1 month later. I hope to learn lots of new things about the Power Wagon. Hope to contribute some as I get mor...

Re: Airbags

New PW owner here. I installed the same bags/cradles and and used the thread that @olyelr posted. Saved me lots of time overall and there is good information about not having to use the spacer. The only semi-sketchy part might be threading the bump stop pad (luckily I have experience using taps from...

Overland 1.5 inch Spring w/King OEM 2.5 Shock

New 2018 PW owner, converted from Tundra. I just received King 2.5 shocks and installed the rears. Can I run the Thuren 1.5 inch Overland spring with these shocks? On my Tundra the front lift (King coil overs) was pretty easy to install (for a first timer). I also swapped out the Tundra upper contro...
