Re: Squeaky Driveshaft, puzzled mind.

If they haven't been changed before you will have to take a torch and melt the retaining plastic out of the joints. The new joints will have snap rings/circlips to hold them in place.

Has the winch, locker switches, Power Wagon build sheet, sway bar switch but no disconnecting sway bar. Front bumper has been cut to allow for a body lift as part of the 14" of lift.

Re: 4th gen winch clutch?

Doesn't the third Gen require a reversed clutch? Could use the 4th gen winch as long it is mounted with the motor on the pass side. but might require reclocking the clutch end of the housing. would be nice to see pics of what we are trying to diagnose. Should still freewheel if clutch is working th...

I use that all the time. Just click on the drop down menus and pick a trans. You can also change the speeds and such on some of the charts to get different numbers for your own purposes.

Re: Questions for DOR

Backwoods is actually 2.5 hours from us, they are over in Fayetteville AR and we're over by Mountain Home. I've heard a lot of good things about the quality. I was also going to mention the Aluminess bumpers, or even a Buckstop. Both of those look pretty simple and don't seem to stick out as far as...

Re: Attention Canadians: Fuel can question

So, I forgot to follow up on this, but Operation Gas Can was a success, though a bit of a complicated one. I couldn't find any Princess Autos along my planned route that had any of these in stock, but they were in stock at their east coast distribution center. I ended up having to make a hotel rese...

Re: ARB Modular Bumper on my 2012 PW

One problem I see is any winch 10k and over, Warn included and IIRC recommended, is designed to be mounted feet forward so there is no pulling forces on the castings, all they do is hold the winch in position. May never be a problem but it is something to keep in mind.

Re: Let's talk bumpers

My own creation. Probably a lot cheaper ... Other than the lights all I bought was the fittings to make the grill and light guards from. All material is 3/16" or 1/4" plate. Without the guard it sticks out the same as the factory tow hooks which I reused and it mounts with the factory hardware. Win...

Re: Warn remote.

The problem is probably it is probably designed to work with the 3 wire Warn controllers and not the 5 wire the newer Warns like ours come with. Plug is the same but the internal wiring is slightly different.

Re: Delrin rollers for factory winch

I wonder if you went to delrin rollers with the stock pins if they would be strong enough or if the long rollers would bend when they had a vertical load on them especially with the line near the middle of the rollers? It would probably be easier to remove the rollers and go with an adaptor for a ha...

Re: Attention Canadians: Fuel can question

I see those cans all the time. Seems too expensive. I just get the poly red ones or yellow. They have a new design one that's narrower and taller and finally has a vent on the back again like the old school ones. That works for me. Is there an advantage to spending $50 more on the metal ones? http:...
