Re: Year-round shock oil for cold weather

I rode in Neil’s truck this year in Moab and I have to say it rode pretty dang nice, so he’s not completely full of it :) Well I assume it would have rode well when it had its original tuning in it when he got his Kings but he said he had to do a lot of back and fourth with don to get the shocks so...

Re: New Rear Bumper?

The Gen 4 High Clearance looks interesting. Going with a Class 5 hitch on that? Where does the trailer electrical connector go? This one posted is just straight bumper. The one with plate holder is cut in to the left side of the hitch and also houses the electrical connection. Tucked in as high as ...

Re: New Rear Bumper?

Hey guys. Just getting back into the swing of the forum and saw some bumper stuff here. How about some moab and truck night tested rear bumpers! 3 of our bolt on bumpers were in moab at pwim19 and getting throughly smashed against everything with some paint damage. The high clearance 4th Gen there i...

I'd be happy with a reliable valvetrain ala no MDS lifters and a button which got rid of 100% of the traction control at any time.
So a 2005-2009 wagon with a 4th gen body.

I wish we were 10 years ago when powerwagons were real trucks not pavement princesses with cooled seats and tv screens everywhere. Re: Diesel PW Build Thread

That's a lot of miles - but it is a diesel  Are you able to run those studs year round up there? I am yes. But this time around I have a second set to wear down come summer. At least that’s the plan. What’s awesome is with this many miles the truck is still pretty tight. Maintenance is a bi...

Re: Diesel PW Build Thread

So minor update. Nothing really has been going wrong with the truck. I drive it pretty hard daily and it's just crossed 450k km . So that's something. I did pull out the lt leaves and build a custom pack off the pw leaves. It's about 20% softer than the wagon pack but not quite as soft as the thuren...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam

Well, being Australian we can't convert the prices directly, which explains some of the markup. It looked dubious. But I've actually seen that kind thing with shops around here. There is a very popular shop in SoCal that people just keep going to, that trash talks Thuren and steers everyone into ov...

Who has purchased from Thuren? Do you call him, or does he have distributors? George from 8Lug doesn't appear to carry his products. Just installed a set of thuren Bent arms on an 06. O rub on 37s and stock wheels. I highly reccommend them You should do a build thread on that truck dude. The contro...

Oh and the SEARCH button and bar should be HUGE!!! Like take up 1/3 of the main page. With some suggestive searches like "will 35's fit" or "does this Carli diff guard make me look fat"

Re: Diesel PW Build Thread

Truck looks great! Awesome pictures sir. Just want to say, I have both Dynatrac and Spyntec free spin kits and while both are absolutely top quality, the Spyntec is better engineered for sealing out the elements. That seems important for your location, so you might want to give them a look. Awesome...
