Re: 37" spare locations
Nutzo Industries makes a tire carrier shelf that is removable. It floats above your bed and attaches to their rack. It can support up to a 40" tire I believe. Leaves the bed free for whatever you want. Don't know how it affects CoG though.

Re: GVWR and Payload
You can never change the sticker. But the only thing lowering the rating on these trucks is the suspension. But when you replace the suspension with upgrades it'll get a little worse and a little better in different aspects. At the end of the day I personally use the normal 2500 gas payload and tow...

GVWR and Payload
I’m curious if anyone here can answer this question. If I change my suspension components or add air bags or change tires can it increase my GVWR or payload? I’ve seen some of you make comments about the PW having a low payload capacity because of the suspension. But other 2500 variants seem to have...

Off Road Expo
Is anyone going to be at the Off Road Expo this weekend in Pomona, CA? Heading there myself. I would love to meet up with some Power Wagoneers and check out your rigs and talk shop.

What? Nah you look good bro! And you lost weight. Most people gain and lose weight. I gained like ten pounds this year from stress. It'll come off eventually. You're a good producer.BoldAdventure wrote: ↑Fri Sep 28, 2018 11:33 pmUgh, I was so fat, please don't watch those videos. It's embarrassing.

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
Well...............this thread might come to a sudden stop. The OP posted about the new 2020 PW in another thread. If He gets one. Everything here becomes a mood point for him. The camper talk will still apply. No one knows what the 2020 PW will be like. Maybe some things will carry over and afterm...

Re: 2020 Power Wagon
From what I've read online they don't anticipate much of a change as far as the exterior and drive components go. Seems like mostly interior upgrades such as an available 12 inch screen. Anyone know anything about expected changes in the 2020 model year?

2020 Power Wagon
I just got intel from a local dealer that the 2020 Ram will be available for factory order in January 2019. I asked the dealer when the 2019's would be available for factory order and he sent me a screenshot of a conversation from the Ram Rep that said . . . Dealer: "When do you think I can order a ...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
WhiteKnuckle sliders are your best and only bet. What's wrong with the factory running boards? They aren't rated for that kind of thing? I was actually looking at the Amp Research Powerstep. It looks like it would give me better clearance but I'm concerned that it would take too much damage in the ...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
Haha thanks for the kind words Mike! The guys I’ve talked to with a Nuthouse rack sound happy with it, I don’t know that I’ve talked to someone who had a bad experience. There are perks to the square bar when it comes to ease of mounting as well. I have a whole list of reasons I made my rack the wa...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
Your head is spinning by now. Another thing that no one has mentioned yet. Sliders. If you are planning to offroad with any type of zeal. You will need them. They bolt to the frame and stick out to protect the rocker panels. WhiteKnuckle sliders are your best and only bet. Boondocking means that yo...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
Wow lots of great input here from lots of people. I'll try to address each of you. My biggest regret was 35s. 37s are in every way better except for what to do with the spare tire... even MPG. I get better MPG on 37s on open highway than I did on 35s. I do get worse in town and in low speed take off...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
Haha I get it! The Thuren rear trackbar provides a longer trackbar with greasable poly bearings, and a raised roll center (kind of similar to lowering the center of gravity). It goes a long way to removing the rear end sway and wiggle these trucks get, especially if you’ve or weight in the bed. The...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
A high quality ground tent and good camping gear goes a long way on every front. Easy to set up and break down and it isn’t a permanent change to the truck. You still get to use a truck. I’ve been down this road several times. Spent thousands of hours on custom setups that aren’t in the market. Alw...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
Does anyone know exactly what the badge delete removes? I like some of the power wagon badging but some of it is way over the top. These trucks speak for themselves. I don’t like that it says “Power Wagon” on every conceivably space. I like the tail board badge. I could do without the decals on the ...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
Get the factory bed liner. I have LineX sprayed in my bed and on the front bumper. It has held up well. All the Rhino dealers around here have gone out of business. So that should tell you something. Bead locks. If you're not hard core. Then they are a luxury. If you really want them. Trail Ready. ...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam
We need more threads like this!! Some excellent points have already been addressed here. Power Wagons are sweet. I’ve travelled pretty extensively in mine and never had a fuel range issue, it’s there in theory but everywhere from Wyoming/Colorado West has never given me an issue. Sounds like you’ve...
