Multiple aftermarket take offs
Alright I got some of my parts off the power wagon. I’d like to sell the big heavy stuff locally. I Live in Phoenix. I added some pics but more can be taken on request, most of it is still dirty and dusty. Everything is off of a 2018 White knuckle sliders. Full diamond skid, .188 DOM. Some scratches...

Re: Well...this sucks
Shock mounts are weak BUT if all the geometry is correct should never break because they should never see downward force. The shock should stop before that. The bumpstop stops the downward force before force is applied to the shock mount. In the up swing the shock mount would see some light extendi...

From the looks at the little dirt/oil marks it appears that you’ve fully compressed them a few times. Are you running boogie bump stops? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Oh I for sure have, I’ve definitely used the suspension, just didn’t expect a shock mount to fail on the way to work lol. Yes I...

Re: Well...this sucks
Yeah the 4th gen shock mounts are a notably weak spot. I’m stage 5 front and have beat on mine pretty good for about 70k miles now. I probably need to take a close(er) look at them than I do with my regular underbody and suspension checks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sad, I only have 14.5k m...

Re: 17 dual alternator install
I have dual alternators, but I would have rather had a higher power single and an air compressor in place in the second

Lol well they are obviously jerking you around. Each truck has its own pin so they don’t get 6 per day.

Re: Sliders
Well I’m going to have to wait on the WK’s until I can convince my wife that they are a good investment. In the mean time, I’m going to put some nerf steps on it. Anyone had experience with these? Rough country stuff is usually not very high quality, but I like the look of these way better than any...

If I was going to commit suicide I would find a more interesting way to do it than wheel spacers. Like what, slitting your wrist with a piece of bubble gum? You would probably have better luck. A few hundred bucks in wheel spacers vs a few hundred more bucks on proper wheels? I don’t trust wheel sp...

Bed Side Molle style rack
Is there any company that makes something similar to builtright bedside racks but for rams? I think it’s a great idea but I can’t find any info saying if builtright is going to venture into different brands. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190218/ab68378fb30b73207429ab8ee0b9efa3.jpg Sent from my ...

Thinking about taking my wk sliders off and raptor lining them. Let a buddy do some crawling and I walked away with a flat tire, dinged up rims, some body scratches, and some missing powder coat on my sliders, figured I can at-least Fix the sliders up

Re: Limiting straps
I’m working on a replacement crossmember that has some more room for the driveshaft among other improvements. That doesn’t look like the shaft is touching the crossmember? But yeah that’s close!! It is, I had to do some maneuvering to get the axle to drop lower to get the shock in on one side and h...

Re: Limiting straps
Could you shoot an email to Thuren and let him know? Even the extended travel shocks were shortened a bit and shouldn’t allow the driveshaft to touch the crossmember. The earlier kits with 12” extended travel shocks could touch the crossmember. That’s not a big difference at the point the driveshaf...

I guess you could consider it the gas tank skid plate support. The Shocks are brand new. Here are some photos for reference https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181027/930aaf68fceffe326b73792d84b99d3d.jpg It’s the furthest back support that the drive shaft hits at full droop https://uploads.tapatalk-c...

Don is coming out with bolt on right sized limit straps. Some have added custom straps. Most of us bang the skid plate out of the way and clear it. Limiting straps
I got my thuren 3.0/2.5 shocks the other day and installed them. I noticed on the rear at full droop the brake lines are all pulled, and the drive shaft is laying on the skid plate.
Has anyone done limiting straps with their thuren kit?
