Re: My 06 need to take my time build.

Well this will be the last post. The truck is sold. If any one in the southern calif area deals with or may be about to deal with JIm's auto sales feel free to private message me about my experience with them. it was less than positive on the back end.

Re: My 06 need to take my time build.

The only issue i ran into down there was that on the passenger side the Cat got in the way of using my torque wrench on the upper bolts i would be concerned that the spacing on that side might prevent the install of those coolers. on the driver side there is plenty of space. id get under the truck a...

Re: My 06 need to take my time build.

Re: '06 G56 shift boot replacement.

That is the assumption there are 6 8 mm shallow bolts holding the boot down. There are pictures of the Mopar Shift boot and it looks and is shaped just like what I'm seeing. so there is a possibility that what I'm going to find is that this is the last layer before the actual shifter tower. At which...

'06 G56 shift boot replacement.

Hello all, I noticed that on my last oil change that the transmission has some fluid dripping from it. I looked and it appeared at first look to be from the drain plug but after further looking it seems to be draining down from the top. So i went and ordered the usual G56 shift boot that you see fro...

Re: Oil Loss/Consumption???

I can attest to the weird oil consumption as well it's about 1 quart of oil per 1000-1500 miles and the driving terrain seems to be the only delta (driving or dragging things up hill) seems to be the culprit for higher oil consumption I have tried Rp 5-30, I have tried rotella 5-40 . I've tried the ...

Re: FilterMag questions/ found loose part in rear diff. 3400

Hope they take good care of your PW. I am getting a bit concerned about the build quality on the newer rigs. especially the axles I keep seeing seals going way early in life. It could be infant mortality and with in the curve but the traffic of bad low millage parts on the FB group is a bit scary to...
