Anchorage CJDR has a bad reputation on the Jeep FB group for their service department killing Jeeps. I've never taken a vehicle to them, but having read other people's accounts, I never will.
Damned if I do, damned if I don’t... :(

Re: 2017/18 Ram recalls

Avoid Anchorage CJDR (by Merrill field) like the plague. I have several recalls I’ve been putting off simply because getting them done is a PITA. If you want to share who you end up taking it to and how your experience goes I’d like to hear it. The Lithia service department has been alright to deal...

2017/18 Ram recalls

The wife and kiddos are out of town so I have time to take both the Durango and PowWag in for recalls; the said my 2017 has four open recalls (3 flashes/software and 1 tailgate latch). Anything that I should be aware of? I wanted to get this knocked out so I can install my locker bypass kit this wee...

I saw that on the Thuren account, too, and sent him a follow request; he’s probably like “who the hell is this guy?!” lol

I agree, great looking rig!

Jeeps should sit outside. Especially when they are broken.

Re: New PW getting White Knuckle Rock Rails tomorrow

Forgot to mention that I got the Dethloff skid installed and it fit perfectly. I can’t recall when I’ve had armor bolt up that easily. One mounting bolt was a pain, but the rest went slick. I took pictures and could post if people care to see, but fit was excellent and finish is, too. 👍 Dethloff! Oh...

Re: 2018 PW Front Bumper

The Thuren is a bit ugly IMHO and not integrating the front parking sensors is a tad lazy, too. It’s nice to see other options out there, however, so good on him for putting another choice to market.

Re: Alaska Earthquake

My family is fine up here - a lot more hoopla about it than it really deserves IMHO. Some damage but not as bad as it would be other places, as Alaska in general factors earthquakes into designs after the Good Friday earthquake of 1964. The picture with the stranded car on the off ramp is about 1/2 ...

Just like the LJ, Jeep fucked up the departure angle. I don't think a serious Jeep truck buyer would complain about a 4' bed since a serious Jeep truck buyer isn't a serious truck buyer. May as well buy a ZR2 with that mile long departure angle. God damn do you ever tire of being a negative nacy? I...

I know that at times there are differences between Cali vehicles and the other 49 states, hence the question. Located in California, works on any 13-18 Ram truck. Re: The Gladiator returns...

That Gladiator Rubicon model with 35's, and the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel turbocharged V-6 engine with start/stop and 8-speed transmission is a sweet little truck. Perhaps a little easier to maneuver on switchbacks and tighter trails than our bus-sized Power Wagons! :duel: What I would have bought if thi...
