I noticed that the Method Trail series wheels have something similar to the PW bead retention nub, plus some biting ridges at the bead itself. This isn't a recommendation for their wheels, as I don't actually own a set, but curious how much it helps retain the bead in low pressure situations.

I was browsing tires and noticed that a new size of the Goodyear MT/R Kevlar is being released: 275/80R17

There aren't manufacturer specs released, yet (true dimensions, recommended wheel width, etc.), but that calculates to 34.3 x 10.8. Tire Rack says it will weight 60 lbs.

FWIW... I have a 2005 Ram 1500 (obviously lighter than the PW's), and I run my 285/70R17 Duratracs at 45 front / 40 rear. That gives me the best equalized wear both front and rear when empty or with a light load (bikes and coolers).

Exposed tires on the roof always bother me, since you know the vehicle is never garaged and the tire just needlessly dry-rots in the sun every day. Always seems like such a waste to me.

That's normal. You can do the same thing to the front driveshaft.

I'm impressed that:

1) The black Dodge was able to drive away with the rear bumper still attached.
2) The red Dodge was able to escape without a hydro-locked engine.
