Re: The Future of Ram- 2019 Spy Shots

I was never a huge fan of the 4th Gen 1500 so I'm hoping the HD model is more aggressive when it comes out in 2020. I'm also curious to see if they actually make the Rebel TRX. A Hellcat Ram with 37" tires has promise.

The Future of Ram- 2019 Spy Shots

Am I the only one not digging what I'm seeing from the spy shots of the 2019?

Re: Guys who've added light pods in rear bumper with ParkSense

Here's a pic of my light switches and my lights. Honestly, I'm extremely challenged when it comes to electrical work, so for $200 it was worth it to have somebody install them for me. I've never had an issue with the backup sensors since the install.

Jeez, got a little drive-happy this year I see.
I did a lot of driving to Elk camp the second half of hunting season last year. I'll more than likely be under 8,000 this next year.

The truck turned 6 years old yesterday. Here's the miles I ran for the last year and the total miles on the truck.

Re: Why has AEV turned to such shit?

AEV just announced a Chevy ZR2 Concept along with a few other Ram goodies. I'm surprised by the ZR2 setup. I thought they would stay committed to Ram and Jeep.

This is more of a test than anything else to see if my account is up and running and I can post pictures again. This was last month when the family boats came out of the water.

I had a 2004 HD Hemi that I ran nothing but 89 in. The same is true for my 2012 Power Wagon. I don't see any point in running 91 in our trucks.

Re: Need to be talked into, or out of purchasing a new PW

My 2012 is my daily driver, and by most people's standards a pavement princess. I bought the Power Wagon because I wanted a truck that could do everything I wanted and more. I don't use the lockers a lot, but when I do they are worth every penny. I've only tinkered with the disconnecting sway bar, b...

We get along, mostly. So, I told them, you are on notice. If our house burns, you are responsible & liable. We have to draft an Official letter & have it notarized & sent to them, to legally prove they were in fact notified. He is trying. I told him the "fix" seems to be using aluminum screen---NOT...

Re: Toyo MT 315/70r17

Another option would be to go with a 285/75. It's not much smaller, and it weighs a little less. For comparison purposes according to the Toyo Web Site: 315/70 = 34.6x12.5 and is 78lbs 285/75 = 34.1x11.6 and is 69lbs I went with the 285/75/17 Toyo A/T II's on my truck because I still wanted to be ab...

Re: Almost time for tires

I have the Toyo A/T II Extreme in a 285/75/17 and I've been happy with that size. I can fit the spare in the stock location, and at full lock I still don't rub on the control arms. I think it's close to a 34x11.50.

Re: 2012 or 2017??

I really like the newer dash/interior of the 2013 and up models, but not enough to trade my 2012 in on a new truck. I have a hunch that when you compare the performance of the 6.4L with 4.10's to the 5.7L Hemi and 4.56's that you're running right now, you won't notice any major gain in performance. ...

Re: Why has AEV turned to such shit?

How about the time the two guys who supposedly had nothing to do with AEV started posting here, they've since disappeared and then an AEV support guy chimes in to tell us about the BETA ProCal. Just recently I asked about why their lift doesn't allow 40's on the Hemi. My thread was apparently delet...

Four Vision X Lights mounted behind the front grill out front, and in the back I have flush mounted LED lights in the rear bumper. My sensors will act up if there's a lot of snow/ice on them, or if I park with the sensors facing the sun on a really hot day (95f or more). After driving a few miles in the summer the "Clean Sensors" message goes off.

I always make sure my tires are siped too. That seems to help a bunch in the winter. But like Rusty said, you need to slow down and drive appropriately in the winter.

The Hellcat Charger is awesome. I tried really hard to talk my wife into a Scat Pack Charger as a third vehicle (we don't have vehicle payments) but she wasn't as exited by the vehicle as I was. Maybe I should have tried a Jeep Wranger Rubicon...

Well its about time for the obligatory put-the-tooner-in-the-water pic. Or do you still not have the luxury of posting pics? Re: 2014+ Suspension/Lift Options = NOTHING

I just saw this on the AEV Forum. I was wrong about the springs. https://forum.aev-conversions.com/showthread.php?t=10644 I guess I should have read the op better. The PW does sit about 1.5" taller in the front and 1" in the rear. The PW springs do have less load capacity in the front (FGAWR 4700 vs...
