Re: Performance out of the 10-13 5.7 hemi?

The biggest gripe I have with my 5.7L is the lack of passing gear on a 2 lane highway. I know that a 3/4 truck will never be a rocket, but the passing gear sure isn’t very impressive in these tanks. I’m really hoping the next gen HD Power Wagon’s get a significant bump in power!

I also don't know why the pictures are upside down or sideways considering when I'm looking at them on my computer they are straight. Oh well...

Well the truck turned 7 years old today. At this rate the truck should last a long time!

Re: ZR2 diesel test drive & test tow

I really like the ZR2, and I think it's a great compromise between a full and a mid size truck. The only problem for me is that at 6'8" I just don't fit in the damn thing. I've often thought the ZR2 would be a better truck in the woods as it's smaller but still has the four doors. I don't blame Twin...

Re: Max tire size for chains

I went with a 285/75/17 when the stock BFG's died on my truck, which basically are a 34x11.50. I can fit chains on the front and back in that size on my 2012. The newer trucks with the radius arms might be different.

Alaska- As far as I know the kit works for up to 2015 from what I've read on the forum, but I'm not sure past there.

Currently Retired BLM Rig has first dibs on the By Pass. If he decides to pass on the kit I'll let you know (if you're still interested).

Re: For Sale- 4th Gen Locker By Pass from myoung84

I have the first Locker By Pass that Morgan (myyoung84) ever sold just collecting dust in my garage, and I've come to realize I'm never going to install it. If anybody is interested let me know. Asking $250 shipped to the lower 48. Thread Link for details on the Locker By Pass http://forum.powerwag...

I'm interested in this, but only for the purpose of researching to see if it can be cloned easily. :digahole:
If it's beyond my ability I would put it back up for sale again.

We took the boats out on 9/15. I’m trying to get some time in with the Hellcat before the snow fly’s and Hunting Season starts. It’s hard to put the boat and car away for winter, but at least I still have the truck.

Re: 2020 Ram 2500 Power Wagon spied

I’m not putting a lot of faith/hope in these spy pictures. They could be testing all sorts of things that will never make the final product. The real hope for me is the 7.0L V-8 that has been rumored to replace the 6.4L Hemi. That could be a good setup in the new Power Wagon and the rest of the HD l...

Not yet. Generally it’s the first or second week of June before Flathead Lake is full enough to launch the boats. I’m hoping for next weekend.

Re: Trackhawk

The Hellcat (Challenger or Charger) is a heavy bitch for sure, and I agree you notice it in the corners. The Widebody Challenger seems to help, but it still will never corner like a Mustang or Camaro. I agree that if I paid $80,000 I'd expect a better interior. However, I picked up a leftover 2016 C...

Sometimes we let our emotions prevent us from comprehending written english. I try not to wrap my ego around the things I own. I'm not even sure what this statement means, and I'm not sure where ego comes into play. My opinion was simply that for $55,000 or so the 707hp Hellcat is one heck of a car...
