Re: Noob's 2013 Power Wagon Build

Keep your factory PCM and buy an unlocked PCM for the tunes. When you need to warranty the truck swap the stock PCM back in. I started down that route as a solution (which would work) But then realized that would be a lot more expensive than getting a new Intune I3 and starting over. It may be more...

Re: Noob's 2013 Power Wagon Build

I feel for you man! The issue of tuning only gets worse as each new model year rolls out - encryption gets tougher to crack. Lot's of people have good success with the Diablo tuners aside from the I-1000. I know you would hate to send more money Diablo's way, but one of their more reputable tuners ...

Re: Noob's 2013 Power Wagon Build

What’s up with your DiabloSport? Having to upgrade it? From what I’ve basically learned, The I-1000 was a terrible programmer from new, has always had issues, and wasn’t really meant for this platform ... I paid close to $500, but they say another $300 will “upgrade” the unit to something better .....

Re: Noob's 2013 Power Wagon Build

You have two basic options: Diablo or an unlocked PCM and custom tuning from a pro with HPP. I figured as much, and you’re not the first to say so ... I guess I’m left between permanently tuning an ECU/TCU (forgoing my forever warranty), letting Diablosport leach $300 from me every two years (to ne...

Re: Noob's 2013 Power Wagon Build

Are you looking for engine tuning only or trans tuning as well? Both/All, thank you ... The engine and transmission are both critical, but additional features are welcome. We’re moving into the mountains and I can’t be tied to a location in the city for tuning ... If something happens I’m 136 miles...

Re: Noob's 2013 Power Wagon Build

Hey everyone ... So I made a huge mistake asking this question on Facebook, but I have an emergency. I’m not looking to explain every mod my truck has, in detail, to make sure it’s worthy of your response. I need a new programmer/tuner. My Diablosport InTune I-1000 has never worked right, and just w...

I have a full set, but shipping alone would be over $200 ... I can't let the springs/coils go for free ... I'm looking to sell the entire suspension set as a whole.

Re: 4th gen winch on a 3rd gen?

Not quite sure ... I've scoured the Internet, but can't find different part numbers for the two. I could have sworn they were different, but can't seem to verify. Might be worth calling a dealership to verify.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

:jawdrop: Outstanding set up!! Are those factory wheels powder coated? Yes sir! Eight rims in total. Once I get my bed rack design ironed out I'll have a spare on the truck as well as the trailer. Since a 37" won't fit under the truck, and I don't want it taking up bed space, it'll need to go up top...

Re: Wanted: winch or least bracket

Yea that one in Ohio looks a little rough lol. Where are you located sheepdog? Got any pics and price? I figure $425.00 since it's basically brand new and never used. I believe my truck had less that 1,000 miles on it when I took it off and installed my TR bumper. I never winched anything until aft...

Re: Ranch Hand

Yeah those are dang good looking bumpers. Sheepdog, how do you get at the winch? Well, I relocated the winch from the factory location to the bumper, which required re-clocking the winch and rotating it so it spools from the bottom instead of the top. With that done, the free-spool lever can be acc...
