Re: Is this place still alive?
I check in once a year lol. 2013 Laramie PW with 13k miles. I used to have a vendor thread and sell decals here back in the day. Can't figure out how to get it back open but have since got back into it. If anyone is looking for custom decals or tshirts, send me a PM.

Re: '13 PW Max Tire Size
Thanks for the info! I had 35x12.5-17's on my 05 as well with no issues. But when I went to a '12 and then a '13, they rubbed a little. Haven't tried anything else but 285-75-17 since but it is soon time to be getting new ones.

'13 PW Max Tire Size
Anyone still here?
Can anyone confirm the max tire size (for no rubbing) for a stock '13 Laramie PW? Currently running BFG 285-75-17 M/T's but hard to find anything in that size anymore and don't want the OE 285-70-17's. Anyone have experience with 35's and no rub on stock truck?

Re: Lifetime Power Train Warranty for 3G
I have the lifetime powertrain on my '08 Avenger. Just had my 2nd 5yr inspection done two months ago at 229,000 miles. No issues so far. Covers everything and anything to do with the motor internals/trans/cv's etc.

Wait, PW's can go over 70mph? I'll have to try that someday!

Let us know what you find out. If I was concerned about folding my mirrors for better MPG in a PW, I probably would get rid of my truck for a Fiat.

Re: Western Ultramount II 8.5 on '13 PW
Definitely appears way lower in those photos, you can see how far below the air dam it is. The good thing with the Western is that it has removable receivers (not pictured on my photos). With those receivers in, it is probably a bit lower, but no need to have them in when not plowing.

Re: Western Ultramount II 8.5 on '13 PW
:D I have plowed, just not with the truck. Every "storm" we had so far was only about 2-3" each in snowfall. So I use the ATV for that, otherwise I'd have everything all ripped up. Wow, that's funny that you have not plowed snow yet! I've plowed at least 15 times so far this "snow season" - those sn...

Re: Western Ultramount II 8.5 on '13 PW
I did not do the install myself, there is a local shop that is familiar with PW's and does them in less then a day. I don't think there are any issues without the plow prep, I think everything is still plug and play, at least with the Western harness it is. Still have not plowed with it yet... not e...

That's because the owners manual and Ram recommend not putting a plow on it.

Western Ultramount II 8.5 on '13 PW
Just in case anyone wanted to see how its mounted with no winch removal. 2013 PW, 8.5' Western ProPlus with the Ultramount II system. I don't see any modifications other then cutting half of the ears off each of the Western brackets (pictured with yellow arrows). It looks like they may use a new cas...

How about the lowest? '13 Laramie with about 5700 on it. I had 19,XXX on my '05 when I traded it in 2012.

Re: Couple more news questions
Hey guys, I'm a little late to the party here but thought I would chime in. Those mounts under the front are called compatibility brackets, they are not for any type of plow. They are required by DOT or some other gov't entity. The exact reasoning I am not sure of, I've heard it could be due to the ...

Re: Any plows yet?
I agree. Still looking to find anyone who put a newer plow unit on a 4th gen, specifically 2013 models. I may be selling my 95 F350 diesel dump truck so I will need to buy a plow for my PW. The winch is the main issue, I don't want to lose that or the tow hooks for a plow.

Re: 2014 Power Wagon on the Ram website finally
They should provide a "heavy towing" option for the PW. I would sacrifice flex for more payload because I haul much more than I go offroad. In fact, my PW probably wont ever see any major offroad driving in its life. Different circumstances now with two kiddies. I now have it for peace of mind with ...
