Lifetime cooler-55qt

Picked one up today at w-world. $97.00 , has great reviews. Same coldness performance as the :cash: expensive ones, for a fraction of the price. It does flex when you sit on it, it does leak water if you tip it with the top latched. Other than that, it's claims have been verified. Holds ice for 7 da...

Scenic Rt 97 in Sullivan/Ulster County has a LOT of high speed car & motorcycle accidents. 20 or so years ago, there was one where a bike hit a cat at an estimated speed of 180 mph, split the car in 2, killed all 4 people in the car & they only found the thumb of the bike operator. It was by the Haw...

If you are a go-fast off-road person, bed side stiffeners are in your future, as DamageWagon stated. https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=A2KLfRzq7QFbF38A_BJXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTEyb3ZxOTE0BGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDQjQwMzdfMQRzZWMDc2M-?p=truck+bed+stiffeners&fr=mcafee#id=65&iurl=https%3A%...

Used it again. It was windy as hell this time too, so I set it in the garage. Bags of red potatoes were BOGO & so were onions. So, I did up 10 lbs of home fries w/10 lbs of onions. Worked awesome. Also did up 25 Sahlens hot dogs, after the potatoes & onions were done. Put into portion bags & vacume ...

Re: More Road-Feel After Driveshaft Rebuild?

 I just can't wrap my head around how so many things seem to be not worth fixing, because a brand new part is just a little more. $289 for a yoke or $529 for an entire new shaft with 2 new u-joints and yoke & new shaft. Just don't seem right to me.

Hey Rusty, have fun but also know that entire thing is a cop magnet. Have had countless people I used to work with go there & come back with tickets, JSYK. The fun police are everywhere, not just NY State.

Re: A Tale of Diagnostic Woe

Seriously, I think it is time for a face-to-face sit down with the owner of the dealership. Tell them, it's not personal, just business. You want your truck fixed properly, that's all. Then ask them if they think their time/money is worth more than yours, because it's not. Then get into all the inco...

Unfortunately your sorrows will not end until someone does a thorough inspection of every component of the valve train. Ain't nobody got time fo dat. They had the heads off already, if they were going to check they would have. Maybe a new engine is a blessing in disguise.   :rofl...

The verdict is in: This thing is friggin awesome ! Cooks a LOT of food in short order. The day i used it, it was super windy though & that hampered things a bit, had to cook with flames higher than i wanted, just so they would stay lit. I may have to invent a better wind screen for it. As for the re...

Camp Chef Pro 90X

Anybody got one & how do you like it/use it ? I just picked one up from Cabela's tonight, & the full width griddle & rolling carry bag. I plan to use ours mostly at home, for canning (once i get everything i need for that), & for cooking large quantities of food & then vacuum sealing & freezing it. ...

It is a modified sine wave, HF special. I know it is not the best for electronics but no issues yet. Microwave is a 700watt dial type that i picked up for $20 brand new, toaster was like $15. To be fair, I have only used them a couple of times each. I would like a pure sine wave but wow, :cash: :cas...

This subject is only limited by your imagination, appetite & gear. It takes a long time to heat something up in a can on the manifold plus you run the risk of exploding the can. Yup, done that in the Army. If you want compact---hard to beat this combo: https://www.cabelas.com/product/CLASSIC-TRAIL-S...

The beauty of the Dura-Bak is that it has small rubber particles in it, that cushion the stone impacts & you can put as many coats on as you want. Just follow the directions to the letter.

MOST stated hitch weights are on the laughable list. And they are empty, I mean bone empty, nothing, zero, nada- in or on the camper. No propane, batteries, camping gear, water, wood, supplies, food, nothing. Our 2005 Keystone Tail Gator had a 1150lb dry hitch weight, add camping gear, tools, propan...

Re: Bush knife

BEAUTIFUL work.

 You need to make a batch of choppers & etch the "POWER WAGON" logo on it & to get around the "copyright" bullshit, just etch the year of the PW of the people who buy them from you; example: 2008 Power Wagon, for mine. Just a thought, you do great work.
