Re: 12 or 15000lb winch?

We sell some Warn products where I work and at our vendor trade show a year ago I met the Warn sales rep who works direct with Ram. He did confirm it is basically a slightly modified M15000 winch and it has the full capacity of the M15000. He said that Ram rates it at 12,000lb capacity purely for li...

Re: Air bags?

I have Air Lift Bags with Daystar cradles on my 2014. Not sure how to link the thread in Tapatalk but search for the "traded my 2011 for a 2014" thread, I have all the details in there. The set up works GREAT!!!

And I've been busy almost every weekend with my son's hockey! Love it but keeps me away from wheeling.

Whether I go or not will depend on my tax refund most likely. Needs to be pretty good to offset the stinking low Canadian dollar!!!

Re: Wheel hop, axle wrap...

I have felt the dreaded hop on my front axle of my 2011, tried wheeling once with a bunch of Jeeps, factory size tires and didn't air down in deep, packed snow. It was pitiful. I know I said it before but you really do have to air down with these trucks for snow. Once you get the right pressures it ...

Re: Wheel hop, axle wrap...

It's still the same issue as the 3rd and 4th gens and every truck with a lot of power a high gear ratio and leaf springs experienced before. Play with the tire pressures and if possible try locking up the rear also. If the truck is in full spool in the rear it won't want to hop as much either. JBMs...

Re: 2014 Power Wagon Payload Capacity

Airlift part number 88289. I ended up using a drill and tap to both through the center of the Daystar cradles direct to the bump stop contact plates on the axle. So do they replace the bumpstops? Got any pics? I have a thread titled "Traded in my 2011 for a 2014" where I have all the details. Sorry...

X2. If you want no rubbing at all on the radius arms you could attempt to go with an aftermarket wheel with just the right amount of offset.

Hi Mike, I replied to your email but if you need any more info on running 315/70/17 ties let me know (i.e. pictures). I also noticed you mention overload springs. I have the Airlift Loadlifter 5000 air bags with the Daystar cradles. After some custom mounting of the cradles the system works GREAT! L...

Re: Axle trusses?

I'm pretty sure Kens axle pulled apart like that because he was trying to keep up with 2wags (who has a trussed axle and basically a Raptor killing Wagon) and just hit a pothole at way too much speed that 2wags axle/suspension could take but his stock axle couldn't. I don't think anyone on here has...

Re: Big towing dreams

Here is a pic of my set up. Trailer fully loaded up with gear comes in around 8500lbs. Then in the box of the truck I have close to 1000lbs (my atv, my kids mini atv, ramps, gas, generator, chain saw, fire wood). I have added Air Lift air bags with the Daystar cradles. With this load I need to air t...
